ABC’s daytime talk show “The View” was produced without a live studio audience Wednesday, March 11, 2020.

The show is one of multiple high profile national shows that is eschewing having a public studio audience over worried about the coronavirus.
Unlike some other shows, “The View” did not appear to have its a larger group of its staff “fill in” as audience members and even made it a point to show the empty gray seats several times.
The co-hosts also made a show of acting “surprised” to not see an audience.
