After photos of a dusty White House press room lectern were tweeted May 15, 2019, someone did a little light housekeeping.

  • CNN correspondent Maegan Vazquez, tweeted a photo of the thin layer of dust gathering on the lectern May 15.
  • On May 17, she tweeted a “before and after” look of the now cleaner lectern.
  • The briefing room was last used for a “faux news conference” for a “Bring Your Kids to Work Day” event.
  • Other than that, the administration has now gone over 60 days without an on camera press briefing.
