Someone dusted the White House press room lectern

After photos of a dusty White House press room lectern were tweeted May 15, 2019, someone did a little light housekeeping.
- CNN correspondent Maegan Vazquez, tweeted a photo of the thin layer of dust gathering on the lectern May 15.
- On May 17, she tweeted a “before and after” look of the now cleaner lectern.
- The briefing room was last used for a “faux news conference” for a “Bring Your Kids to Work Day” event.
- Other than that, the administration has now gone over 60 days without an on camera press briefing.
There still isn’t a White House press briefing scheduled.
But today, some of our press corps colleagues noticed someone came in and dusted the lectern in the briefing room.
Our sinuses may be spared, but we still have questions we’d like the WH to answer.
