Telemundo names permanent anchor for its late night newscast

He anchors his MSNBC program from Telemundo Center near Miami and sometimes travels to New York for “Nightly.”
Julio Vaqueiro was appointed to take over the anchor chair at 6:30 p.m., shifting him off the late newscast. Since then, the network has been using rotating anchors to fill in there.
Loizaga was previously an anchor on the network’s morning show “Hoy Día” and with her new assignment, Telemundo also announced Rebeka Smyth would move into her slot there.
