ABC’s “The View” only had two hosts in studio Monday, March 23, 2020.
The show also reverted back to its normal table (instead of the temporary “big ass” table) — but with only Sunny Hostin and guest co-host Sara Haines in the studio, social distancing was still possible.
Meanwhile, moderator Whoopi Goldberg and co-host Joy Behar joined the show remotely from home, as did another guest co-host, Rahm Emmanuel.
Behar had previously announced she was taking time off of the show due to coronavirus concerns.
Meghan McCain, who announced her pregnancy and move to remote hosting over the weekend, did not appear on Monday’s show.
The show was broadcasting even as news that two ESPN employees who worked in the same complex of buildings “The View” uses tested positive for coronavirus.
