A therapeutic horse riding facility was dedicated in honor of a murdered Chicago TV producer.
Anne Swaney, who would have turned 43 July 20, 2019, was found floating in a river on Belize in 2016.
Swaney, who was an online producer for WLS in Chicago, was on a horseback riding trip to the country when she was killed.
The Legacy Ranch in Lockport, Illinois, was dedicated in her memory Saturday — and is a nod to her passion for horses and horseback riding.
The facility provides children and adults with special needs a place to receive horse-assisted therapy.
There are still no solid leads in Swaney’s killing.
