The morning news ratings battle is showing positive news for both ABC and NBC — but CBS still remains stuck in third place.
ABC’s “Good Morning America” is still leading in total viewers.
“Today” is marking 185 consecutive weeks as the top morning show in the adults age 25-54 demo, according to data released by NBC News.
NBC News is also touting the show’s total viewership wins Monday, July 8 and Wednesday, July 10, 2019.
However, it’s worth noting ABC News’ “Good Morning America” is still regularly outperforming “Today” in total viewers, but only by about 55,000 viewers.
The ratings also show that NBC eroded the “GMA” total viewer gap by 52%.
In addition, “Today” has also increased its total viewership lead over “CBS This Morning.”
“CBS This Morning” has dipped in the ratings after the network shuffled anchors in the morning, keeping only Gayle King on the show.
