Dallas morning anchor announcements retirement

A longtime Dallas morning anchor is retiring Aug. 26, 2022.
Tim Ryan, who has co-anchored “Good Day” on Fox-owned KDFW since it launched in 1995 and been with the station for 33 years, since 1989.
“I’m retiring, so there,” he said on the Aug. 2, 2022, newscast.
“I’m sad for us, but I know your family is so excited. I’m going to go ahead and start preparing. I’m gathering Kleenex for the next month or so,” said co-anchor Lauren Przybyl Aug. 2, 2022.
Ryan and his wife, Beth, have two grown children, Meghan and Patrick. He became a grandfather to Lucy in June 2022.
