As a flurry for coverage on the network newscasts Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, NBC News’ “Today” kicked off its show with an elaborate “The Latest” segment that involved a handheld camera, “walk and wander” and “video on video” techniques to cover the Paul Manafort verdict and Michael Cohen plea.
