Trump supporters may rally to buy Fox rival OAN
With Donald Trump’s on-again, off again relationship with Fox’s conservative commentary channel playing out on social media and live TV, several of his buddies are reportedly formulating a plan to try to buy the even more conservative One America Network, The Wall Street Journal reports.
- Hicks Equity Partners, owned by Thomas Hicks Jr. and other investors, is said to be eying acquire the channel by getting together of wealthy GOP donors to raise a purported $250 million.
- OAN is available in about one third of U.S. households.
- Hicks and the company are not related to Hope Hicks, the former White House communications director.
