Tucker Carlson taking time off after calling white supremacy a ‘hoax’

Fox personality Tucker Carlson is under criticized for comparing America’s white supremacy problem to he “Russia hoax.”

“It’s a conspiracy theory used to divide the country and keep a hold on power,” he said Tuesday Aug. 6, 2019.

The following night, Carlson announced he would be taking time off.

Fox has said the vacation was already in the works before his comments Tuesday.
