Two CBS employees test positive for COVID-19, network closes down buildings

Two CBS News employees have tested positive for coronavirus, the network confirmed in an internal memo.
The employees worked on two separate floors on separate areas of the sprawling CBS Broadcast Center in New York.
The areas will undergo deep cleaning and employees who worked in the affected areas are being asked to work from home over the next few days.
The changes have affected “CBS This Morning” and CBS Sports productions as well as the network’s 24 hour streaming news service CBSN.
The network’s owned CBS station, which also originates from the building, was not immediately affected.
Both employees who tested positive are self quarantining and working from home when possible as well.
