Vice is buying Refinery29

Vice has announced it will acquire Refinery29.

• The new company will be known as Vice Media Group.
• Refinery29, which focuses on female audiences, was founded in 2005.
• It will join Vice’s other brands and channels, which include culture, news, women’s interest, tech, arts, fashion, sports and more.
