Get your wide glasses ready. Want to be in the audience of NBC’s taped New Year’s Eve special hosted by “Today” co-anchors Kathie Lee GIfford and Hoda Kotb? Here’s your chance.
Here’s the deets:
- If you’d like to be in the audience for this special show, send an email to NBCU.Audience@nbcuni.com.
- The show will tape on Tuesday Dec. 11 at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, and audience check-in will begin at 11:15 a.m. EST.
- The taping will go from 1-3 p.m., and all audience members must be at least 16 years old (proper identification is required).
- You must also come dressed in black tie formal attire.
- The special will air on Monday, Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
- Incidentally, this likely will be the last version of this special with both Kotb and Gifford — which Gifford leaving the show in April 2019.
- It is possible, however, that Gifford could return for a one-off gig to co-host the special again next year — or the network may go in a completely different direction.
