WBBM promos its main anchor team as ‘always investigating’

WBBM, the CBS O&O is airing this promo that showcases its anchor team under the “always investigating” tagline.

• The station replaced main anchor Rob Johnson with reporter Brad Edwards in March 2019.
• At the same time, morning anchor Marissa Bailey was also let go.
• The anchor shakeup came as the station continues to battle in a competitive news market.

The station promotes Edwards and co-anchor Irika Sargent as active investigative reporters in another “anchor desk” promo.
