The new CBS logo uses the font TT Norms Pro from TypeType.
The geometric sans serif font has similarities to Proxima, a popular TV news font, and is being used across most of CBS’s divisions as part of a company wide rebranding.
It also appears to be the font the ViacomCBS logotype is based on.
Other divisions using various weights of the font include:
- CBS television network (previously used Didot followed by a variety of sans serifs)
- CBS News (previously used Didot as well)
- CBS Sports
- CBS Media Ventures (formally CBS Television Distribution)
- CBS Studios
