Fox’s hit dramas “9-1-1” and “Prodigal Son” are taking a break Nov. 18, 2019.
- Despite being in the middle of November ratings, the network pulled new episodes of the two shows from the schedule for Nov. 18, 2019, replacing them with reruns from earlier in the season.
- It’s not immediately clear why Fox opted to air reruns in the middle of November sweeps, though both shows are strong performers and could likely still draw a decent audience with repeats.
- The decision could have also been driven by production schedules as well.
- The repeats will go up against live two hour episodes of “The Voice” and “Dancing with the Stars.”
- Both shows will return with new episodes Nov. 25, 2019.
