CNN has settled on much of its 9 p.m. lineup for the week of March 6, 2023.

Monday, March 6, 2023, will see “Jill Biden Abroad” hosted by Sara Sidner and featuring an interview with Arlette Saenz. The event was originally planned for March 2, 2023, but was pre-empted during coverage of the Murdaugh murder trial verdict.

CNN released its initial lineup March 6, 2023, with another announcement the following day.

The network aired “Navalny & the Cost of Standing up to Putin” as planned March 3, 2023.

Meanwhile, March 7, 2023, will feature a CNN town hall on the fentanyl crisis in America, billed under the name “America Addicted.” Anderson Cooper will host.

March 9, 2023, will feature the previously announced town hall “The War Over Education” with Ohio Gov. Glenn Youngkin and hosted by Jake Tapper.

On March 2, 2023, CNN announced that Wednesday, March 8, 2023, will feature “The Zelensky Interview” with Wolf Blitzer.

That still leaves March 10, 2023, left to be decided. The network has previously said that it plans to feature content inspired by the news cycle in the 9 p.m. slot.

The March 2 pre-emption of the Biden special, however, was a bit ironic given that the network has been attempting to bill the hour as more news-focused, but was then forced to pre-empt its planned content for breaking news.
