Fox will debut “First Responders Live” on June 12, 2019.
- The show is executive produced by “Law & Order” and “FBI” producer Dick Wolf.
- Josh Elliott, a former “Good Morning America” and CBSN anchor will host the show.
- The show will embed cameras in emergency response teams around the country, which will be shown live, though likely with a slight delay.
- The show is similar in concept to “Live PD” and the spinoff “Live Rescue” on A&E.
- “Live PD” and “Live Rescue” use a delay to avoid showing any objectionable content and also have “live to tape” content ready in case there isn’t anything of interest happening at the time of the broadcast.
- “First Responders Live” also gives Fox a nice tie-in with its drama “9-1-1” — though that show will have wrapped its season by then.
