‘Law & Order: SVU’ ‘frames up’ in new key art

NBC’s “Law & Order: SVU” is back for its 20th season with new key art:

• The new design features the main cast, from left to right, Ice T, Philip Winchester, Mariska Hargitay, Kelli Giddish and Peter Scanavino.
• Each cast members is standing inside a vertical “frame” of sorts — with black borders surrounding each one.
• The borders overlay portions of each characters’ bodies, while subtle bursts of light appear behind some of them.
• “Law & Order: SVU,” often known simply as “SVU” returns Thursday, Sept. 29, which represents a move from its longtime Wednesday night timeslot to make way for NBC’s “One Chicago” night.
