‘Kelly Clarkson’ plans return with hybrid episodes

NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution’s syndicated talk show “The Kelly Clarkson Show” is returning April 6, 2020 with new episodes.

The show, which often films in advance, will use a blend of material shot from before production shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic and new segments filmed at Clarkson’s Montana ranch to create new episodes.

A “Messages from Montana” monologue segment will be added to the episodes — as will shows with Clarkson hostly remotely and interviewing guests virtually.

Viewers can also expect to see more “Bathroom Kellyoke” where the host and singer covers songs.
