After HBO didn’t nominate a ‘GOT’ actor for an Emmy, she did it herself

“Game of Thrones” actor Gwendoline Christie’s was not originally submitted by HBO for Emmy consideration, so she nominated herself.
HBO submitted several of the stars in its hit series for Emmy nominations, but did not include Christie.
It’s worth noting that “GOT” has a very large cast, so her not being nominated by the network is not necessarily a reflection of its view of her or her work.
At least some of the Emmy voters seemed to agree Christie’s work deserved a nod — she was officially nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series earlier this week.
She’ll find out if she wins on Sept. 22.
