Alex Jones loses another attempt to get Sandy Hook lawsuits tossed
A judge has struck down an appeal related to a Sandy Hook defamation lawsuit against Alex Jones and Infowars.
- In this case, Jones is facing a lawsuit brought by Neil Heslin, whose son was killed in the Sandy Hook shooting in 2012.
- Heslin — along with other victims families — have been the target of alleged death threats and harassment.
- Many of these threats are believed to stem from Infowars’ “reporting” that the shooting was a hoax and the murdered children were “crisis actors.”
- In the latest action, a judge not only ruled that the case could move forward, but said Infowars must “pay all costs” incurred in connection to the failed appeal.
- The order also ordered the site to turn over internal emails and documents about Sandy Hook as part of the discovery process, another point that Infowars had objected to.
- Jones is also being sued by nine other Sandy Hook families.
