‘Ballers’ ending after Season 5

HBO is ending “Ballers” after its fifth season.

Star and exec producer Dwayne Johnson announced the news on Instagram.

The HBO show is set to start airing its fifth — and turns out final — season Aug. 25, 2019.

The eight episodes are currently scheduled to air through Oct. 13 and will cap the series out at 47 episodes.

“Ballers” follows other high profile HBO shows to call it quits this year — with “Veep” and “Game of Thrones” already wrapped and “The Deuce” and “Silicon Valley” scheduled to end their runs.
