CNN claims wins over MSNBC and Fox — but only in the demo

While MSNBC is celebrating some significant TV ratings wins, CNN has releases its own spin on the numbers:

• The network is claiming wins in “all key dayparts this month – total day, prime time, dayside and weekends” in the adults 25-54 demo.
• For the 55th straight month, CNN also surpassed MSNBC (235,000 vs. 199,000) in total day, the longest monthly streak since 2010.
• Among all cable networks, CNN ranked  Number 5 in total viewers in total day in January. This marks the 13th straight month that CNN is a Top 10 cable network among total viewers in total day.
• “CNN Tonight” also beat Fox’s third place “The Ingraham Angle” and Ingraham Specials in the demo.
