CNN’s Brian Stelter has been promoted to the network’s chief media correspondent.
- Stelter joined CNN in 2013 with the title of “senior” media correspondent.
- His contract also calls for him to host the network’s weekly media analysis show “Reliable Sources.”
- In TV news, it is not uncommon for networks to use the word “senior” or “chief” in a correspondent’s title, especially as a way to designate their assigned beat or area of expertise.
