“Game of Thrones” star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was booed by the crowd at Comic-Con.
Coster-Waldau, who played Jamie Lannister, was on a Comic-Con panel Friday, July 19, 2019 when he said he thought his character’s ending was “great.”
Some members of the crowd booed after he made that statement, according to a video posted by Variety.
HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” which is known for its die-hard fans, garnered criticism for its final season for everything from the lighting to a rouge Starbucks cup to the storyline.
Some fans have even called for the final season to be re-written and re-produced.
Coster-Waldau was part of a panel that included other “Game of Thrones” cast and crew.
The panel was originally supposed to include more, including the showrunners, but some pulled out over “scheduling cocerns.”
