NBCUniversal owned E! News has announced an expanded programming lineup.
The network will “transition” into offering a morning show, tentatively titled “Pop of the Morning.”
Its “Nightly Pop” show will also grow to four nights a week.
The network is also planning a celebrity home showcase series with the working title “In the Room.”
“BingE! Club” is also planned — and will feature reviews of movies, music, viral videos and more.
“Daily Pop” will continue to run weekdays at noon eastern, while “Nightly Pop,” which currently airs twice a week, will expand to four nights.
The growth is being lead by Tammy Filler, an exec brought in to help expand its original programming.
It also comes as the entertainment news genre heats up — with Mario Lopez joining NBCUniversal syndicated sister show “Access Hollywood” and Billy Bush making his return to TV on “Extra,” which will be retitled “ExtraExtra.”
