Fox names Bill Hemmer’s replacement on ‘America’s Newsroom’

Ed Henry will take over Bill Hemmer’s spot on Fox’s “America’s Newsroom.”

• Hemmer was named as host of “Bill Hemmer Reports” earlier this month, the show that will permanently replace “Shepard Smith Reporting.”
• Henry, meanwhile, will host the network’s three hour block alongside Sandra Smith (no relation to Shepard).
• Henry was most recently national correspondent for the network and has also co-hosted “Fox & Friends Weekend” and “America’s News Headquarters” on Saturday and Sunday, a position that he started in November.
• Fox says a rotating slate of talent will appear on “America’s News Headquarters” and “Fox & Friends Weekend.”
