On the “Good Morning America” Halloween bash, co-anchor George Stephanopoulos opted out of dressing up — though he did at least take off his tie and roll up his shirtsleeves.
- “GMA” went with a “Disco Fever” theme this year, turning the second floor in “Studio 44” (as opposed to the famous “Studio 54”).
- ABC frequently refers to the Times Square Studios “GMA” uses as Studio 44 because it sits near 44th Street.
- The set up included a doorman and line to “get in.”
- Stephanopoulos, meanwhile, served as the “D.J.” for the festivities, essentially announcing each of his colleagues as they entered.
- Over on “Today,” meanwhile, “NBC Nightly News” anchor Lester Holt provided recorded narration to a rundown of top movie and TV dance moves.
