Two Kentucky reporters who work for the same station and also happen to be roommates created a home TV studio with two liveshot locations.
Connor James and Will Puckett share an apartment and set up a camera with TVU Networks technology to get the signal back to the station.
They then did back to back live shots for their station, WYMT — but from opposite sides of the room.
“All we do to do was turn the camera 90 (degrees),” tweeted James.
James used a blank wall with a TV monitor providing a colored wash of light while Puckett used a wood toned accent wall as his background.
Today we set up a one cam/one TVU rig for back to back live shots at our apartment. All we had to do was turn the camera 90°
The backlight form the TV ended up looking really good.
