Lego is helping to celebrate the 25th anniversary of “Friends” with a special edition model that lets fans recreate the show’s iconic coffeehouse Central Perk set.
The 1,079 piece item is listed at $59.99 and goes on sale in September, according to the Lego website.
The set includes seven custom minifigures: Ross Geller, Rachel Green, Chandler Bing, Monica Geller, Joey Tribbiani, Phoebe Buffay and, of course, barista Gunther (who probably pines over the Lego version of Rachel).
The coffeehouse’s green columns are recreated using columns in a new shade of green as well as a window emblazoned with the Central Perk logo.
It’s worth noting that the model is actually depicting the soundstage version of the coffee house — so it lacks the “fourth wall” and also has spotlights on either side.
The set is part of Lego Ideas, an interactive forum where the public can post ideas for sets with other builders voting on them — and some are ultimately turned into official sets.
