Two mysterious Facebook pages have been created and are running ads on the platform that appear to attempt to convert viewers of Fox’s cable network that airs Sean Hannity to One America Network, a competing conservative network.
The pages are titled “Informative Tips for the Community” and “American Voices Today” have reportedly spent $70,000 since last month on ads, according to The Daily Beast.
The ads are reportedly targeted at users over the age of 55 and encourage them to “make the switch.”
Despite Facebook’s recent efforts to step up transparency on who’s behind ads, it’s not immediately clear who’s running these pages.
