NBC brining back ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ for summer run

NBC is looking to its own past this summer and bringing back the genealogy series “Who Do You Think You Are?” along with a slate of more recent favorites.

The series, which ran on NBC for three seasons starting in 2010 before moving to TLC, was last aired in 2018.

Executive produced by Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky, to show follows celebrities who track down their ancestries, often with surprising results.

Zachary Levi, Nick Offerman, Allison Janney, Billy Porter, Zachary Quinto and Bradley Whitford are set to be featured in the return season which starts July 10, 2022.

Meanwhile, NBC is also slating “America’s Got Talent” and “American Ninja Warrior.”

“Talent” will see the return of judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara along with host Terry Crews, while “Ninja” will welcome back Matt Iseman, Akbar Gbajabiamila and Zuri Hall.

NBC will also premiere “Dancing With Myself,” a dance competition series inspired by viral videos posted to social media. Nick Jonas, Liza Koshy and Shakira will create routines for contestants to perform. The series will be hosted by Camille Kostek.
