After scuttling her planned Las Vegas residency, singer Adele has inked a deal to bring another music special to U.S. television — though it isn’t exactly going to require any more performing on her part.

Titled “An Audience with Adele,” the special is set to air March 20, 2022, on NBC.

The program, however, has already been seen on TV overseas. It’s essentially a repeat of a show that was taped in November 2021 at the London Palladium and aired on ITV in the U.K. that same month.

Adele previously sold the rights to a U.S. concert special to CBS, which ran under the name “Adele One Night Only” in the U.S. that same month.

The two productions are separate productions, however, though there will likely be some duplicate songs performed.

Adele previously appeared on NBC back in 2015 with “Adele: Live in New York City,” which was filmed at Radio City Music Hall, but was prior to her latest album, “30,” being released.

Many die hard Adele fans have already seen the London concert thanks to underground copies of the show circulating online.

The new special won’t include the Oprah Winfrey interview segments that were woven into the “One Night Only” concert, which was taped in front of the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles.

The “Audience” concert features a surprise appearance from one of the singer’s former teachers as well as Adele engaging in Q&A from celebs in the audience.

“An Audience with Adele” will air from 9 to 11 p.m. eastern on March 20. It will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.

Meanwhile, Adele says that her Las Vegas residency, which was abruptly canceled, will take place before the end of 2022.

The limited run was slated for the Coliseum at Caesar’s Palace but was axed shortly before it was scheduled to start. The official word was that too many crew members had come down with COVID-19, but reports also circulated about behind the scenes spats with the production designer may have meant the show simply wasn’t ready to take its bow.
