NBC’s Peacock gets non-exclusive streaming rights to Wolf shows
NBCUniversal’s Peacock streamer has acquired non-exclusive streaming rights to Dick Wolf’s NBC series, reports Deadline.
The deal includes all four of Wolf’s series currently on air — “Law & Order: SVU,” “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago Med” and “Chicago P.D.”
In addition, Peacock will stream all episodes of “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: Criminal Intent.”
“SVU” is currently streaming on Hulu, but the original “Law & Order” has never been offered on a streaming platform.
The deal, which Wolf noted is a “lease,” is reportedly in the nine figures, according to Deadline sources.
