Networks break in — in the middle of the night — for news of summit’s abrupt end

While most of America was asleep, the networks broke into their overnight programming to carry a live press conference from Hanoi, Vietnam, where Donald Trump announced an early end of the summit with Kim Jong-Un. Vietnam is approximately 12 hours ahead of eastern time, so it was early afternoon there.
