Ronan Farrow says there were ‘multiple’ settlements over Matt Lauer’s behavior before he was fired
Ronan Farrow revealed that his upcoming book will reveal details about how NBC allegedly was aware of former “Today” anchor Matt Lauer’s behavior and even arranged earlier settlements involving allegations against Lauer.
- Appearing on “Good Morning America,” Farrow said he “can’t answer specific questions” about whether or not he spoke with Lauer for the book, but did say it has been “extensively fact checked.”
- The book will illustrate “paper trails” of documentation about Lauer’s alleged behavior and how NBC responded.
- Farrow says his book will show that NBC had accusers sign at leave seven nondisclosure agreements in settlements connected to Lauer’s alleged misconduct.
- He points out these were done “years” before NBC fired Lauer.
