See the ‘Jeopardy!’ clue that got a Chicago newsroom yelling

Apparently a “Jeopardy!” question caused quite a stir in a Chicago newsroom.

  • WLS anchor Rob Elgas tweeted a photo of a clue reading “4 of its last 10 governors have spent time in federal prison.”
  • In the tweet, he wrote “Was wondering why I heard the @ABC7Chicago newsroom screaming “WHAT IS ILLINOIS!” during @Jeopardy.”
  • His tweet ended with a “facepalm” emoji.
  • Chicago journalists are, of course, quite familiar with the state’s infamous past of corrupt politics.
