Study: ‘Hard news’ side of Fox reported ‘misinformation’ every day this year

In a new report, Media Matters for America finds that the “hard news” side of Fox’s cable channel that airs the opinion heavy lineup centered around Sean Hannity
- Media Matters looked at dayside programming on Fox News Channel and Fox Business from Jan. 1 to April 30, 2019.
- In that time period, the report documents that every single day in that time period contained at least one piece of what it labels “misinformation.”
- The report includes quotes from Fox personalities describing the dayside focus on “hard news” — as well as a daily “log” of misinformation.
- Also included is an explanation of why each “report” is false.
