Tesla is going to let you stream Netflix and YouTube — but there’s a hopefully temporary catch

Tesla is looking to add the ability for owners to stream Netflix and YouTube from their vehicles.
The feature will only work when the car is parked at first — so it won’t be much use breaking up the boredom on long car rides (except for pit stops).
Tesla is rolling out the feature soon — hopefully in August 2019.
Once regulators approved self driving car technology, Tesla says it will allow the feature to be active while driving.
