A longtime segment on a Pennsylvania TV station’s newscast is getting a new “driver.”
- Mike Stevens, whose popular “On the Pennsylvania Road” segments on WNEP’s Newswatch 16, is turning over the reigns of the franchise after 40 years.
- Stevens is not leaving the station completely but will instead focus on blogs, podcasts and a weekly photography segment.
- Anchor Jon Meyer will take over the weekly segments from Stevens in addition to his anchoring duties at 5 and 5:30 p.m.
- “On the Pennsylvania” road packages air on Wednesdays.
- WNEP is the ABC affiliate in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
