White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham’s credibility is under question after she made unsubstantiated claims that Obama era staffers left notes saying “you will fail” in White House offices.

  • Joanna “JoJo” Rosholm, who was first lady Michelle Obama’s press secretary tweeted an image of the letter she left in her office when she left.
  • Rosholm also added that the staff left copies of Obama books.
  • Grisham, meanwhile, has offered no evidence that the letters existed.
  • Multiple former and current Trump officials told The Washington Post that no such letters we left.
  • Grisham appeared to backtrack, claiming the letters (and apparently a bottle of Russian vodka) were left in the “lower” press offices and not all offices.
  • However, The Post points out that multiple former Trump officials have released tell all books after leaving (often after short stints) and none of them mentioned any negative notes.
  • Yet another official says that had there been such notes, they would have been documented and likely spread on social media.
