Weather Channel orders ‘Storm of Suspicion’ series

The Weather Channel has ordered new original program, “Storm of Suspicion”:

• The Weather Channel has ordered eight episodes
• The series is produced by Jupiter Entertainment
• Jupiter also created “Jon Benet: An American Murder Mystery” and “Casey Anthony: An American Murder Mystery” for ID
• Each episode will be an hour long
• Centering around true crime stories, each episode will examine a crime where weather played a central role to the narrative and investigation
• The series will premiere this fall
