• The presenter launched a “Lucy Hockings Live” Nov. 4, 2019 on BBC World News.
• She previously hosted “GMT.”
• Hockings has been off the air for some time now.
• The BBC wouldn’t comment on “personal matters” of its journalists, but did confirm that Hockings will be back on air Dec. 23, 2019.
• In television news, when a show’s namesake anchor is out, most shows still retain their name on the show’s title — and may continue to mention them in the opening sequence.
