Ben Bradley, an anchor at WGN in Chicago, retweeted a photo of Donald Trump showing of the spread of fast food he “personally bought” for the Clemson University football team pointing out the irony of having Trump, Abraham Lincoln and Ronald McDonald in the same image.
- Photos of Trump’s epic fast food dinner for the visiting football team have taken the Internet by storm.
- Trump says he paid for the food from McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Domino’s and Burger King out of his own pocket because much of the White House staff is furloughed due to the government shutdown.
- Bradley’s tweet references Ronald McDonald, the fictional mascot McDonald’s uses, even though the character doesn’t directly appear in the photo.
