ABC staffers have mixed feelings about Sean Spicer on ‘Dancing’

Inside ABC, staffers reportedly have had a range of reactions to the network adding former White House press secretary Sean Spicer to the cast of this season of “Dancing With the Stars.”

Some of the new division’s staffers are “up in arms,” reports CNN.

The decision to hire Spicer was made by ABC’s entertainment arm, not the news division.

However, given that the network’s morning news show “Good Morning America” heavily promotes the show, some are still crying foul.

Other reactions have included eye-rolling and “I don’t care.”

Those who are against it, however, are pretty clear why they’re upset — it seems like a direct slap in the face for those in the news division that had to deal with Spicer’s lying and obfuscation while he was press secretary.

Now, he’s being aired on the same network and being paid out the same corporate purse.
