All three original ABC ‘American Idol’ stars returning for Season 3

Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie will all be back for Season 3 of ABC’s version of “American Idol.”

The future of the judges had been up in the air.

The network was reportedly looking to cut costs for the show — especially given Perry’s purported $25 million salary.

All three have been judges on the show since it moved to ABC.

The third ABC season will debut in spring 2020.
