Prominent (and appropriately named) WABC forecaster Amy Freeze has left the station.
She made the surprise announcement on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, which was also her last day on air.
She had been with the ABC owned station for 10 years.

In a tweet announcing her departure, she noted “I’m not leaving NYC!”
Speculation has emerged that should could have signed on with a rival station or cable network.
