CBS Chicago reporter accused of sending ‘obscene’ messages
A WBBM Chicago investigative reporter allegedly harassed a woman with “obscene” messages, reports Chicago City Wire.
Dave Savini, who is a reporter for CBS Chicago, is accused by flight attendant and author Kathy Browne of sending messages over the past year or so.
Browne indicated in the police report that the problem has been “ongoing” and has asked Savini to stop communicating.
Chicago City Wire also reports that Browne also contacted station management about the issue.
Neither CBS 2 or Savini responded to Chicago City Wire’s requests for comment.
In 2014, Savini was arrested in a Chicago suburb for battery, driving under the influence and endangering the lives of two teenagers, allegedly during a confrontation in a Taco Bell parking lot after a minor accident.
